The CNaVT exam takes place annually during the first two weeks of May.

- A2 - Maatschappelijk Informeel

Registration for the CNaVT exams in May 2025 is open from 15th of February 15th of March 2025.
Starting 15 th of February, you can register via the button below (currently inactive).
After payment, you will receive immediate confirmation, guaranteeing your exam place.

A2 exam: 3 hours

Candidates will be informed of the exact time and location of their exam by the end of April. This could be at the World Wide Juf office in The Hague or one of the other international locations.
CERTIFICATE OF DUTCH
The CNaVT Educatief Startbekwaam profile at B2 level is recognised by nearly all universities and colleges in the Netherlands and Flanders. It is an excellent choice for students seeking to validate their Dutch proficiency with an internationally recognised certificate. For some programmes, a C1 level is required. Admission requirements can vary between universities, colleges, and specific fields of study.
If you plan to take the CNaVT exam as part of a university or college admission process, it is important to verify in advance whether the institution accepts the certificate.

What’s included in the exam fee?
The exam fee includes:
- Registration for the exam in Leuven.
- Part A: Listening and writing, conducted in a classroom setting.
- Part B: Reading and writing, conducted in a classroom setting.
- Part C: Reading and oral interaction, conducted individually with an examiner.
- Courier costs for sending the completed exam to Leuven.
- Venue rental, including coffee and tea.
