Vacancy English language coordinator and teacher
World Wide Juf is looking for an enthusiastic, English primary school teacher who can be flexible in their work schedule.
World Wide Juf offers one-on-one education through audio-visual media for Dutch and Flemish children, teenagers and adults residing abroad. Our students receive on average one hour per week private lessons from a qualified teacher.
It is our endeavour to also provide Primary English lessons for the Dutch children who are moving back to the Netherlands and who want to keep their English at a high level. In future, children of other nationalities will also be able to take advantage of these lessons. The candidate we are looking for will help us set up and provide the English lessons. This vacancy can be filled from home, anywhere in the world as long as the working environment is suitable for online lessons.
We are a forward-thinking school and therefore we want to invest in potential future leaders as well as excellent teachers. We expect our teachers to be skilled in using digital tools for teaching.
The successful candidate:
Will be international minded;
Can work independently, is decisive and flexible in their work schedule;
Can respond to different levels and needs of a student;
Is willing to teach outside the standard teaching hours and possibly in the weekend.
Qualifications and Experience:
Qualified primary teacher;
Recent experience as a primary school teacher;
Has knowledge of the English curriculum and educational standards;
Being computer literate, knowledge of Office 365 tools is necessary;
The candidate must be a native English speaker.
Knowledge of the Dutch language and culture;
Experience as a learning support teacher;
A challenging, varied part-time job, with the option of expanding to full-time, based on an assignment agreement (self-employed construction). This vacancy can be filled from home, anywhere in the world as long as the location has a suitable environment to provide online lessons, eg. proper lighting, connectivity, camera quality, etc.
